Turdblossom

July 9, 2009: Finally, Congress has gotten around to questioning Bush's beloved "Turdblossom" about his role in firing U.S. attorneys the Bush administration deemed politically unfriendly. The point is, you're not supposed to do that. It's, like, against the law.

We don't know yet what Rove said to the Judiciary Committee, but maybe, just maybe, we may yet get some accountability for the many crimes of the Bush administration.

The other one thing we know about all this is that they're not done with Rove yet, and he will be called back for more questioning. In honor of this commendable baby step toward justice, we have brought back our ode, "Turdblossom," created in the wake of that sad, sad day when George W. Bush had to say goodbye to his bestest pal.
