I Won't Grow Up

I was doing anti-war radio on KPFA Berkeley during the first Gulf War, when I got a letter from a listener, Esther Kronenberg of San Francisco. She wrote that she had sat down to watch "Peter Pan" with her two little kids, when she suddenly got inspired to rewrite the words to this song. It was the first song she ever wrote, and she wondered if I could do anything with her lyrics.

When I read Esther's new lyrics, I couldn't believe how perfect, how wonderful they were. I recorded it, played it on the radio, performed it all over the Bay Area, and finally got the idea to make it into a Flash video. Esther was truly inspired.
