Walk Like An Egyptian

Winter 2011: The people of Egypt saw the spark in Tunisia and they themselves became the fuse. Boom! The Arab Spring was born.

The people of Wisconsin, seeing their new Republican governor do his best to eliminate collective bargaining rights in a proud union state, kindled the flame of resistance in America. And today the voice of change burns bright around the globe as the 99% movement continues to gain momentum.

Even as governments and administrations try to shut us down, we find new ways to conspire together for a better world. We owe a debt of gratitude to the people of Egypt because they showed us how it's done.
